LIV Golf - Adelaide
Activate The City
The Challenge:
LIV Golf Adelaide had momentum on course, but the opportunity extended beyond the gates. The challenge was to take the energy of the tournament into the city itself, creating experiences that reached new audiences, extended dwell time, and positioned Adelaide as part of the event, not just the host location.
The Solution:
Rather than relying on a single destination activation, the approach focused on dispersion and participation. By embedding LIV Golf into Adelaide’s nightlife and public spaces, the work aimed to turn the city into an extension of the tournament, informal, social, and accessible to fans and non-fans alike.
The Idea:
LIV in the City transformed central Adelaide into a series of playful, high-energy activations inspired by the world of golf. Night Caddies moved through the city as mobile brand ambassadors, while Bank Street became home to Bunker Beats, a silent disco set within a bunker-inspired environment.
Elsewhere, Drive the Streets reimagined an urban golf range, allowing participants to test their swing as each shot lit up the cityscape in real time. A 360-degree Watering Hole booth captured the atmosphere, placing guests inside the most iconic moment of the LIV experience.
Together, the activations blurred the line between sport, entertainment and city culture, ensuring LIV Golf didn’t just arrive in Adelaide, but was felt throughout it.
