Creative Strategy

Client briefs can be contradictory and confusing, I can help you find your way through the uncrackable briefs that come your way. It all begins by working out what we’re trying to do. Sounds simple enough, but creating focused, behaviour shifting insights around a clear and solvable business challenge is the essence of any good creative strategy. I love figuring out what makes people tick, then translating that into a clear and creative path forward.

Creative Direction

You need someone who’ll get up to speed quickly and see the project through. I can help you from start to completion. Sometimes my clients need me to manage briefings and ideation sessions along with feedback for the creative and account teams. Some like me to get in front of their clients to present the work, others like me to handle the production, directing shoots and managing suppliers. I can help you with all of that, in the short or long term.

Copy & Art Direction

Ideas! You need’em and I got’em, lots of them. Having worked in PR, Experiential, Shopper, ATL, Digital, Media, Social, B2B and Healthcare agencies and for both big, small and startup clients. I’ve written scripts, shot films, invented games, delivered world firsts and given away millions in prizes and experiences. I know the benefits found in integrated concept development. Copy Vs Art? The boring bits about working together.

Most of my clients have their own supplier agreements, NDA’s and all that other legal stuff. Below are some additional terms to make sure we work happily together.

Terms Of Service

 
  1. While contracted with Nick I (Agency), agree that all work created by Nick is the property of (Agency) and that he retains the right under ‘fair use’ to display completed work in his portfolio.

  2. While contracted with Nick I (Agency), agree that all work created by Nick that is subsequently submitted for awards or accolades will officially register and apply due credit to Nick for his contribution with the awarding organisation or body.

  3. While contracted with Nick I (Agency), agree that Nick is contracted for regular business hours between 9:00am 5pm Monday - Friday, inclusive of a 30 minute lunch break totalling at 7.5hr per day or at an hourly rate if otherwise agreed.

  4. If additional or irregular business hours are otherwise agreed the rate will be calculated hourly at $250p/h

  5. Nick agrees to send through a weekly invoice at the end of each week or end of contract.

  6. (Agency) agrees to pay invoice within 14 days of receiving invoice. If the invoice isn’t paid within 30 days a 10% late payment fee with be applied each 14 days thereafter. 

  7. As a requirement of contracting with Nick I (Agency), agree to give 24hrs (OR 1 Business Day) notice prior to cancellation of a contract. If the contract is canceled within 24hrs (OR 1 Business Day) before the start of the contract a cancellation fee of 1 days rate at the agreed day rate.

  8. (Agency) reserves the right to cease the contract if work falls below (Agency) standard.

  9. Nick agrees not to disclose any sensitive or confidential information regarding (Agency) or its clients in so far as the disclosure of the information would damage (Agency) or its clients.

  10. Subject to this agreement Nick agrees to deliver up to (Agency) all property and documents, including all confidential information, belonging to (Agency) which is in his possession, if any, upon request or prior to the cessation date. 

  11. Except as may be required by law each party agrees that it will not say or do anything or engage in any conduct which will disparage or otherwise bring into disrepute the other, its related body corporate, or their respective officers, servants, agents or employees in any way.
